1 year Countdown to our wedding

Gail and I have set our wedding date to 08/09/10. We are thinking of ideas to for our wedding but we are not 100% sure what we would like to do. For the most part we are certain that we are going to go somewhere and elope, then be on our honeymoon. Here are the two ideas that we are narrowing our options to:

1) Flying to Hawaii and having a beach wedding and spending the rest of the week enjoying the tropical setting.

2) Driving to the Caesars Poconos resort in North East Pennsylvania, having a garden setting wedding, and getting the Champagne Tower suite for the honeymoon.

As far as the Hawaiian wedding and honeymoon goes, we are not certain how much we need for travel and lodging for a week. My guess is that we need to save about $2500 on the travel and honeymoon and $1500 for the wedding if we choose the 1st option. The second option will probably cost us about $1500 for the wedding and $2000 on travel and lodging. The upside to doing the first option is that it's Hawaii, enough said. Now the traveling expenses for Hawaii is not including if we want to do something other than hang out at the resort or stay put in the area of the resort. If we have to rent a car to do some sight seeing, the price could be another $500 more. Now the Poconos the car rental expense is already figured into the traveling expenses, plus we can stop in Pittsburgh and Cleveland and see those areas on our way to and from the destination.

So I'm wondering, what should we do.
